Overview
I joined Google as an Interaction Design intern. I designed on Google's Ads team on a mobile app called Google Opinion Rewards.
I created a new end-end flow to help users update their profile in order to improve Ads' data hygiene and thus provide more relevant content for users.
What is Google Opinion Rewards?
Google Opinion Rewards, or GOR for short, is a mobile app that pays users for answering surveys.
Why do advertisers care?
Advertisers need qualitative data about their products and insights on customer demographics.

What I Learned
Collaboration
During my internship, I learned to collaborate with other stakeholders, like engineers and PMs. I learned to proactively ask questions about their capabilities and priorities while also prioritizing the UX.
Exploration
I learned to be more creative and explorative during the ideation phase. I used sketches to brainstorm and consider more effective design solutions.
